ANPA Stop-The-Bleed Campaign

Life-threatening bleeding can happen in people injured in serious accidents or disasters. Instead of being a witness, you can become an immediate responder because you know how to STOP THE BLEEDThe STOP THE BLEED campaign is aimed at teaching about 1 million people quick techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out:

  • (1) How to use your hands to apply pressure to a wound
  • (2) How to pack a wound to control bleeding
  • (3) How to correctly apply a tourniquet.

These three techniques will empower you to assist in an emergency and potentially save a life.

The Helping Babies Survive Programs

ANPA Helping Babies Survive is a suite of evidence-based, hands-on training programs developed to reduce neonatal mortality in resource-limited environments.

Together, the HBS programs ensure that birth attendants have the necessary skills and competencies to provide high-quality care to newborns after birth.

ANPA provides this skills-based “train the trainer” module of facilitator training to eligible candidates to provide the skills, tools, and resources to assist providers of Newborn Care toward improving neonatal survival.

To further raise awareness, WHO celebrates World Malaria Day each year on 25 April to underscore the collective energy and commitment of the global malaria community in uniting around the common goal of a world free of malaria.
